The rental rate is per day for the machine, and is subject to terms and conditions. 

The retail rate is the base rate per day and excludes: 
1. Tractor and diesel – to be provided by customer
2. Delivery to and collection from the site – the machine must be delivered by ABC Hansen to the site (Charged @ R7.50 ex VAT per km from Pretoria)
3. Excludes a holding deposit on your credit card – equal to 3 days rental.

Documents to be submitted for rental application: 
1. CIPRO documentation for company renting the equipment
2. Identity documents of all directors of the company
3. Proof of residence of the company.
4. Proof of residence of the directors of the company
5. Full address or GPS location of where the goods will be used and/or stored during rental period
6. Signed terms and conditions of rental
7. Signed consent for credit check
8. Copy of the entity’s VAT certificate

The Bushgraze Trailed Feed mill is the ideal piece of equipment for producing bush feed – in the field – where your animals need it most.

Powered with a common drive from a minimum 35HP tractor PTO, the Bushgraze incorporates chipping, milling and mixing into a single operation to produce high quality feed.

The Bushgraze was developed specifically for the Namibian market in the drought stricken areas in the late 2010’s – when forage was scarce, and farmers started seeing the value in feeding invader bush as a replacement for grass as a source of roughage.

We mounted the system onto a road legal trailer, with suspension, to allow for the transport over extended distances – a necessity for extensive farmers.

The Bushgraze is in truth a complete feed mill – mounted onto a road legal trailer – it consists of

1. A Grizzly 100 wood chipper (Wood Chipper – Grizzly 100 Petrol)
   The Grizzly chipper chips branches and stumps up to Ø100mm into wood chips, which are then fed directly into the hammer mill inlet.
2. A Hippo 47 Hammer mill with dust control (Hippo Hammer Mill Size 47)
   The Hippo Hammer mill mills the wood chips down through a 8mm screen, to produce a palatable, digestible roughage feed.
   The Hammer mill is also fitted with blades instead of hammer, for a cutting action – to produce a more consistent fibre length, and minimal dust, and to maximize capacity.
   The other ingredients are also fed into the hammer mill (such as maize, soy meal etc)
   The mill discharges the milled product via an air chute directly to the blender
3. A 500liter horizontal blender (Blender Horizontal)
   The blenders mixes all the components together, and discharges from the back of the trailer.
   The resulting feed can then be collected and then fed directly to livestock, or it can be pelleted as a separate process.

Capacity of the Bushgraze is up to 500kg/hr – depending on product mix and quality of raw materials.

All the components run off of a common drive from the tractor PTO – eliminating the need for additional generators or extra diesel/petrol motors in the field.
