Universal mill- No attachment – S/Steel

The unique combination of Plate mill, Pin mill, Stone mill and Hammer mill, in fitted to a universal mill base is an inexpensive solution to small millers to enable them to have high flexibility in production from a single machine – making it ideal for bakeries, spice millers (who have a wide range of different products to mill) nut butter millers, millers of dehydrated vegetables and fruits and many other industries where high flexibility in milling equipment is required to change quickly from one product to the next.

Changing from one attachment to the other takes approximately 20 minutes – and no special tools or skills are necessary for the changes.

The various attachments and speed reducers are supplied in kit form whereby one drive unit is all it takes to, in turn, transform the plate mill into a hammer mill or a stone mill or a pin mill. The fineness of the milled product, when using the plate or stone attachments, can easily be adjusted with the adjustment wheel on the side of the machine, which adjusts the aperture between the two milling surfaces.
The pin mill however is not adjustable as the fineness is determined by the speed of the pins and the spacing of the pins – which can be controlled by adjusting the speed of the rotor – usually the easiest way is by fitting a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to the motor.
The fineness of the hammer mill – is adjusted by changing the screen of the fitted with a screen with a larger or smaller hole size.
